Elona Saidoulaeva 
Elona’s artistic path began at Sint-Lucas High School in Antwerp, Belgium, where she studied Liberal Arts for two years, before graduating at the top of her year with a high distinction.
After secondary school, she enrolled in a Graphic Design bachelor course, before changing her major to interior architecture.
After taking a few years to visit her homeland and reignite her creative fire, Elona resumed her creative path by undertaking a painting degree for two years at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Whilst undertaking her degree, she continued to engage with graphic design and lettering. A few years later, as Elona was searching for new creative challenges, she discovered machine knitting. Quickly mastering the technique,
Elona began to knit accessories and founded a small brand.
The inclusion of textiles and wool in her creative endeavors provided more depth in the concepts she was trying to convey.
Elona currently lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium, and attends an Applied Graphics course at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts to further inform her art.
